J'ai passé 6 semaines très agréable dans le cadre d'un déplacement professionnel, lieu très calme et studio tout à fait fonctionnel.
Catherine a répondu à toutes mes questions et attentes.

Nous avons séjourné dans le gite Ginko, 2 couples et 4 enfants (de 8 à 12 ans) pour visiter Paris et Disney. Logement propre et fonctionnel. Très bon accueil de Catherine.

Wij verbleven van 6 augustu tot 19 augustus op deze fantastische locatie. We hadden een paar dagen voor de aankomst geboekt maar alles was perfect geregeld.
Op 20 minuten vanaf Disneyland en 10 minuutjes vanaf het treinstation waar je als je de goede trein neemt zo in het hart van Parijs bent.
Omgeving is veel te zien en te bezoeken.
Gastvrouw heeft het de mooie plekjes van de omgeving uitgelegd. Wij hadden twee twee persoons huisjes. Waren goed schoon, goede bedden , fijne douche en van alle gemakken voorzien.

We komen zeker weer terug.

Hemos tenido una estancia maravillosa en la Croix de la Jarrie. La casa muy cómoda y limpia. Catherine nos ha atendido con mucha amabilidad y rapidez en todo lo que le hemos pedido. El pueblo bonito y tranquilo. Bien comunicado con París, Eurodisney y Versalles. Todo a menos de una hora. Si volviera a París repetiría alojamiento

nous avons séjourné dans le gite ginko 7 personnes du 5 au 8 juillet 2019 lors d un mariage au château du vivier, localisation du gite ideale car situé a 5 km du site du mariage. en avons profité pour découvrir cette jolie région ( ville médiévale de provins)
excellent accueil de Catherine, gite très propre et très fonctionnel , bien équipé , belle décoration.

Accueil très cordial- Gîte Triplex 2 chambres très agréable, parfaitement propre et très bien équipé ( jusqu’au sèche cheveux et table à repasser !). Nous avons également apprécié l’accueil et aussi l’espace petit jardinet privatif et sa table extérieure. Nous conseillons vivement ce gîte bien situé et calme avec parking .

Vacaciones Disney en familia inolvidables!
Nos encantó el apartamento. Una zona muy tranquila para ir en familia y a un paso de Disney (se tardan aprox. 20 minutos en ir en coche). Catherine muy amable, un cielo de persona y además nos facilitó la tarea pudiendo hablarle en Español. Nos vamos encantados y deseando volver!

We stayed here for 2 nights with 2 families in the apartment for 7, which goes over 3 floors, in May 2016. The house is very new, everything is in excellent condition. The welcome was extremely friendly, giving us a lot of ideas how to spend the following days in the surroundings. We very much appreciated this. The place has everything you need for a pleasant stay. You can easily cook in the kitchen, all the equipment is there and in good shape. Catherine, our host was very friendly and always there when needed. The service/ price is fair, you really get a good value for your money. I highly recommend this place.

A l'occasion d'une fête de famille, j'ai passé 3 nuits dans le petit gîte.
J'ai bien apprécié l'accueil ainsi que le soin porté au lieu en lui même.

Hemos pasado unos dias de vacaciones en París y nuestra estancia en la croix de La Jarre ha sido muy agradable. La casa es alegre, confortable y muy limpia. Bien comunicada con Disneyland y París.
Catherine, una persona encantadora que nos ha atendido con mucha amabilidad y nos ha dado todo tipo de información.
Sin lugar a dudas, repetiríamos si volviesemos a París.

Mes que una casa ens em sentit com a casa tota la família. La Catherine ens ha informat molt bé de tots els llocs a visitar, com arribar-hi. La casa molt neta, ben equipada i comfortable. Molt recomanable. Erem dos adults i 4 nens i hem coincidit tots. Com a casa!

We stayed in Holiday from 20.7.15 to 27.7.15. It was a absolut nice time.

As Information for all the others.
- great startpoint for trips to: Vaux le Vicomte, Fontainbleau, Tigerpark ( Le Parc de Felins), real old town Provins
- to Paris, in the near town Tournan-en-Brie exist a trainstation with direkt line to trainstation in Center of Paris
- only a half hour to Disneyland

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The kitchen is complete.

We wish you a nice stay, we has it.

I stayed a total of 7 weeks at La Croix de la Jarrie while working near to Paris.The Apartments are very clean and quiet and fully equipped.
Catherine the owner was always very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble, when you first arrive Catherine gives you lots of Information about where to eat,shop and visit, so you can orientate yourself(selves) very quickly.
La Croix de la Jarrie is an excellent place to stay, where you can relax and be away from it all and at the same time within easy reach of Paris, Disneyland,Versailles and many more Tourist locations.
We will return for sure once again (holiday not working :) , until then all the best, John

Je cherchais un gite accessible pour personnes handicapées près de Paris et Disneyland. Après quelques jours de recherches, j'ai trouvé le gite de Madame Billet et malgré qu'il n'y avait pas d'aménagement spécifique, j'ai pris contact avec elle. Madame Billet a tout mis en oeuvre pour que je puisse logé, et que mon séjour soit le plus agréable possible, malgré les contraintes que j'avais, dans un de ses studios. Mon chien d'assistance a même été accepté et je la remercie infiniment. J'ai passé, avec ma famille qui logeait dans un appartement à coté, un excellent séjour. L'accueil, la propreté, la tranquillité, la beauté des lieux sont à l'honneur. Pour ceux qui cherche un endroit tranquille et accueillan près de Paris, je conseille vivement les gîtes de Madame Billet et moi-même, j'y reviendrai avec beaucoup de plaisir.

Excellent.
Nice apartment and a friendly host in a quiet neighborhood.
La Croix de la Jarrie is close to shopping and the Metrostation in Tournan.
We bought a 5 day (tourist) Metro-ticket (on the internet).
Parked our car in Tournan and drove all over Paris by the Metro.
Perfect for a holiday i Paris.

We have visited La Croix de la Jarrie already twice this year.
All type of cottages have plenty of room, very good equipped and also very clean. This place is central: not far from Paris, 20 min to drive to Disney land and with beautiful surrounding. The owner, Catherine, is a very attend, warm person . Every time she does everything to feel comfortable.
We will definitely visit La Croix more often. We will see you soon, Catherine. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality.

We stayed here with our daughter, son in law and two young Grandsons. Excellent, well equipped Gite. Excellent location for Disney, Feline Park, Paris, Fontanblue etc. Quiet location, would recommend to everyone

La casa es perfecta , todo limpio ,acogedor y bien equipado.
La experiencia en la casa ha sido muy positiva.

J'ai séjourné dans un des gîte pendant une année, une année qui est passée très vite.

J'y avais déjà séjourné quelques années aupravant et je dois avouer que ça a toujours été sans déception. Les gîtes sont vraiment très fonctionnels et on ne manque de rien.

We had a week chez Catherine and it was a lovely place to stay in a lovely area. Peaceful and quiet. Despite Disney, Paris etc the highlight was seeing wild boar at one in the morning on the outskirts of the village. Catherine made sure we new where to shop, eat and find an open boulangerie during les grandes vacances. If you want to tour Paris and the surrounding area but still get a few minutes peace this is definately a great place to base yourself. Oh and the great thing for the kids is that Catherine supplies wifi free of charge, so they could 'keep in touch' with their friends.
The apartment is very well equipped, a washing machine means you can pack lighter, oven, microwave, fridge, toaster and a DISHWASHER in the kitchen with all the necessary utensils. Bedrooms comfortable, TV/DVD in the living room, good sized bathroom with a large shower unit. A great holiday home.
If I am ever blackmailed into returning to EuriDisney I will definitely return.

Acabamos de llegar de pasar una semana en LA CROIX DE LA JARRIE, y todo ha sido estupendo, la casa perfecta amplia, limpia, y con todo lo necesario para tener una estancia inmejorable. La ubicacion ideal para ir a DISNEY, a tan solo 15 minutos y el entorno muy tranquilo y precioso. Desde luego que si volvemos a Disney nos alojaremos en LA CROIX DE LA JARRIE, mis hijos estaban encantados en la casa y Catherine nos recibio fenomenal y ha sido encantadora.

Catherine un saludo enorme y gracias por hacernos sentir como si estubieramos en nuestra casa.

Nice cottage with plenty of room very well cleaned! Catherine is a nice warm person who would do everything to make you feel welcome.
She took her time to show us all of the nice trips you can take from there to Paris or Disneyland and the beautiful villages around.

Nous (2 familles) avons passé un très agréable week-end de Pentecôte
dans le gîte. La proprietaire Catherine nous a accueilli chalereusement
et nous a fourni informations très pratiques pour visites dans le coin.
L´appartement est très bien équipé et propre. Rien ne manque !
Entièrement à recommander ! On espère y revenir un jour !

We have just returned from this accommodation and were really pleased. We visited Paris so we could take our children to disney land and the cottage is ideally located for this with only a 20 minute drive to the park.

The house was clean and well equipped and the owner Catherine was very helpful and accommodating.

We would defiantly recommend.

Le gîte est confortable, bien équipé et calme. Nous avons passé une semaine en famille très agréable. La situation est idéale pour DISNEYLAND et la proximité d'un terminus RER est parfaite pour les visites à Paris.
L'accueil est très sympatique et les petits conseils précieux.
Notre séjour reste un excellent souvenir et nous avons déjà transmis l'adresse autour de nous.

Anche se con leggero ritardo, vogliamo ringraziarti dello splendido soggiorno che abbiamo trascorso.
La Croix de la Jarrie è davvero un posto accogliente, situato in posizione strategica per fare moltissime gite in posti incantevoli!
L'alloggio che abbiamo utilizzato per 15 giorni è davvero soddisfacente sotto tutti i punti di vista, e davvero spazioso.
A coloro che leggeranno queste righe consiglio vivamente di trascorrere un po' di tempo qui, per rilassarsi e divertirsi con tutta la famiglia! Una sola, ovvia, raccomandazione: andate in macchina!!!
Certamente noi ci torneremo molto presto.

We had a awsome stay with 5 adults in the large appartments. Large accomodations that are only a short drive away from most tourist locations. Disneyland and several nice palaces are definatly a must see. The nearest subway station to Paris is only 15 minutes away so after a busy day of sight seeing you can relax in peace in the comfortable appartements.

We loved it and will return in future trips.

Nous avons passé quelques jours formidables dans le Croix de la Jarrie. La maison est excellente, ample et bien décorée et tout était très propre et en parfait état. Caterine sa maîtresse, a été très aimable avec nous. Très recommandable pour visiter la France chez une famille ou avec un groupe d'amis. Merci pour tout Caterine, pourvu que revenons très tôt!!!!

La Croix de la Jarrie is an excellent place to be when you want to visit Paris and Disneyland. After arrival we were welcomed with a complete information package by Catherine, all nice places to visit in the neighbourhood were in the package.
The 3 room gite was good, enough space for 2 adults and 3 kids. The linnen was already on the beds, what a service!!!

Wir waren 2011 im Disneyland in Paris.
Die Wohnung wurde uns von unserer Französichen Freundin Madame Conrad aus Deutschland vermittelt.In Kürze waren wir mit dem Auto im Disneyland. Nach Paris fuhren wir auf Empfehlung von Madame Catherine mit der Bahn vom Nachbarort aus. Die Wohnung war in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand und es ist alles Vorhanden was man in einem Haushalt braucht.Jeden Morgen holten wir Brötchen und Croissants noch warm direkt aus dem Backofen vom Nachbarort. Madame Catherine ist eine sehr hilfsbereite und nette Dame sie gab uns hilfreiche Tips und Tricks. Der Preis der Wohnung war Super . Der Sohn von Madame Catherine spricht perfekt Deutsch.Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern sehr gut aufgehoben. Jederzeit würden wir die Wohnung wider anmieten. Nochmals vielen Dank und Liebe Grüße von Familie Marx aus Deutschland.

Hi there, thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. Everything was just perfect for my husband and I to come with a 16 month old toddler! The location was excellent for accessing places like Paris and Disney and there were so many local attractions that you pointed us towards - we loved Provins with the medieval displays they put on in particular. Un mois déjà et nous n'avons pas encore eu le temps de vous dire combien nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans votre gîte. Nous avons pu organiser notre cérémonie dans les meilleures conditions possibles. Encore merci pour ces bons moments au vert.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment form Catherine for a week with the 5 of us. We have 3 young children and we loved staying there. It was easy to get everywhere and the boulangerie in Liverdy is the best. But above all, the apartments are just complete, nothing is missing and it is a very pleasant place to stay. Catherine has made sure that nothing is missing. We were also welcomed with all the information needed and found she had a lot of useful thoughts of where to go with the kids, other than the obvious ones. All 'n all, we will come back when we are in the Paris area again.

Po pierwsze przebywałem wraz z kolegami pod Paryżem niestety w celu wykonania kontraktu a nie wypoczynku w szczycie sezonu urlopowego. Spędziliśmy u Catherine niezapomniany tydzień - niestety tylko tydzień. Mieszkanie było w pełni wyposażone i spełniało każde nasze wymagania. Dodatkowo kontakty Catherine pozwoliły nam na łatwe znalezienie zakwaterowania na pozostały okres naszego pobytu pod Paryżem. Dużą zaletą jest brak dodatkowych kosztów, gościnność i elastyczność gospodarzy. Gorąco polecam zarówno dla wypoczynku jak i miejsce zakwaterowania.

We are a family of 4 with two daughters aged 6 and 9 years. The accommodation was great for our family, it was clean, modern and comfortable. My girls said their beds were very comfortable and slept well every night. We felt welcome and enjoyed our stay. The village was within easy reach of Disney, Paris and Provins. We had a wonderful trouble free stay and would definitely visit again.

We all had a wonderful time in Chatres. Catherine was a lovely Host and presented us with all the infomation we needed to make our stay as full as possible. Upon our arrival she gave us infomation on all the local attractions and events including some special events happening only during our stay , so you can rest assured each visit is taken seriously with thought going into each. The accomodation was spacious,functional and clean. Many modern convienieces (microwave, dishwasher and washing machine etc) were supplied making it a home away from home.Although Chatres is a very quiet village with no ammenities of its own it was an ideal touring point to Disney, Paris and other parks and attractions.Overall we really enjoyed every aspect of the break and hope to return again.

Először is szeretnék köszönetet mondani ezért a remek ott töltött hétért. Minden remek volt, a környék gyönyörő és az apartman is nagyon hangulatos és jól felszerelt. Gyakorlatilag minden adott egy jó nyaraláshoz, pihenéshez. Tudom ajánlani mindenkinek aki Párizsba szeretne látogatni, vagy a környék látványosságaira kíváncsi és mindemellett egy igazi hangulatos francia vidéki kisvárosban szeretne lakni. A közlekedés Párizsba igen egyszerő, a szállástól kb. 5 km-re van egy vasútállomás (jó parkolási lehetőséggel) és kb 15-20 percenként járnak vonatok Párizs szívébe.

Mi nagyon jól éreztük magunkat, ha ismét Párizsba megyünk biztosan ezt a helyet fogom választani.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! We have just returned from a lovely week at La Croix de la Jarrie, staying in a 3 bedroom house with our family of 6. The area was very peaceful and the house perfect for our needs. Our older girls (16 & 8) loved the attic bedroom and our son (4)loved the curvy staircases. As others have mentioned it is ideally located for day trips to Paris (we parked at Disney as we have annual passes and therefore free parking), Disney, Versailles etc. We hope to return as soon as we can! Hola somos las familias Romero Armada y Buceta Armada y estuvimos pasando unas estupendas vacaciones en esta bonita casa a la cual no le falta de nada agradablemente decorada cómoda y muy limpia. Después de las largas caminatas que nos hacíamos por la bella Francia nos encantaba volver a ella.Queremos darle las gracias a su dueña Catherine por recibirnos tan cordialmente nos tenía preparada toda la información de cómo desplazarnos,que visitar dónde comprar etc.Muy bien comunicada con los lugares que queríamos visitar Disney, Provins Fonteneblau y como no, París.Gracias Catherine por ser tan amable.

Wij, oma en opa en gezin met 2 kinderen van 5 jaar en 3 maanden zijn net terug van ons verblijf in La Croix de la Jarrie(30 april tm 7 mei 2011) en hebben een hele fijne tijd gehad. We werden vriendelijk door Catharine ontvangen en goed voorzien van toeristische tips. Het huis was ruim en schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Grote slaapkaners, met goede en vooral lange bedden. De locatie is een goede uitvalsbasis voor diverse uitstapjes. We zijn naar Parijs geweest met de trein, 6 km verderop opstappen, een dagkaart kopen voor ca. 13,95 p.p dat is voor trein, en onbeperkt metro en bus, je stapt uit de trein op Boulevard Haussmann, geweldig. Tip neem vooral eens de bus in Parijs, het is heel goedkoop en je ziet gelijk grote delen van de stad. Verder zijn we naar Eurodisney geweest, 30 min. rijden. Meaux( van de brie), Fontainebleau en vlak bij Eurodisney ligt Centre Commerciale Val de l Europe. daar kan je ook een dag doorbrengen.
Kortom we zijn heel tevreden over ons verblijf. Nog een tip: neem wat extra handdoeken mee, want de daar aanwezige handdoeken zijn beperkt en mogen niet worden gewassen.
We gaan zeker nog eens terug.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Les appartements de Catherine sont très beaux et bien aménagés.
La proximité des parcs de loisirs et des centres commerciaux nous a permis de faire beaucoup d'activités dans la région sans avoir besoin d'aller à Paris.
Nous avons été séduits par l'accueil et la convivialité de notre hôtesse et reviendrons à la Jarrie pour nos prochaines vacances en Ile de France.

Just wanted to say thank you Catherine, for a lovely stay. The accomodation for 3 families was perfect. Everything we needed was near by, from groceries, to train stations and attractions. The lodging was very comfortable and cozy, and the view was spectacular. I definitely recommed to famlies, group of friends or even couples on a romantic gettaway. Again, great accomodations if you are plannng on a budget. Thank you for everything Catherine.. Hope to come back again some day.

El lugar es espectacular, y la anfitriona Catherine siemre al pendiente de nuestras necesidades. Se lo recomiendo a familias, amigos, o parejas buscando escaparse para una velada romantica. El espacio es comodo, y para el precio, no se puese pedir mas. Muchas ammenidades cerca, shopping, supermercados, y la estacion del tren. Our family of 4 adult children & their partners thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Croix de La Jarrie. We rented 2 units as there were nine of us, and feel that we had exceptional value. The apartments were very clean, and very comfortably furnished. We were able to cook beautiful meals from the food we bought from the local towns as the kitchen was very well equipped. Catherine was a great host and the first night, when we arrived much later than we expected was waiting for us and gave us lots of information for things to do around the area. We found that we had a great base for exploring not only Paris, but the surrounding areas and did a day trip to Versailles and also a day trip to Bruges. To travel to Paris, we would just drive to Tournan en Brie, park the car and catch the train. After such days, it was lovely to come back to the peacefulness of Chatres and relax. Thank you Catherine & Herve for making our trip so memorable and special.

Stayed August 2010 and had a lovely time. Gite is clean and comfortable, located in the small and peaceful village. Great location for Disneyland,and Central Paris only a short journey by train by train.

Catherine is a lovely host who provided us with lots of local information on places to eat, visit and shop.
Charters is a small and quiet but nice village, where it is easy to relax and recharge ones batteries.
It is conveniently located for access to Paris and surround.

We enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again in the future.

Hemos pasado una semana maravillosa en La Croix de la Jarrie. La casa es fantástica, bonita y con todas las comodidades. Hemos estado 2 familias con 3 niños pequeños y no hemos echado nada de menos en ningún momento. La casa se encuentra en un entorno natural precioso (hemos visto hasta un grupo de ciervos llegando al pueblo por la noche)y está muy cerca de Eurodisney y de París. Caterine, la propietaria, es encantadora. Nada más llegar tenía todo tipo de información turística sobre la región con folletos y planos para facilitarnos las visitas. ¡Hasta nos indicó cómo llegar a Eurodisney más rápido y en apenas 20 minutos ya estábamos allí!. Por si fuera poco, habla un poco de español e inglés así que no hay problema de entendimiento.

En la parte trasera de la casa hay un jardín con césped donde los niños pueden corretear y jugar al balón.

En resumen, un lugar ideal para familias con niños que quieran visitar París, Eurodisney y Provins (un pueblo cercano calificado por la UNESCO como patrimonio de la humanidad).

Esperamos volver pronto.

Onlangs zijn we voor het tweede jaar op rij een week in Châtres geweest en hebben een verblijf geboekt bij La Croix de la Jarrie. Een heerlijk rustige plek, maar binnen een half uur zit je met de auto in Eurodisney of Parijs. Het dorp zelf is zo klein dat er niets is. Voor boodschappen moet je naar het vijf minuten verderop gelegen Tournan.
Het appartement zelf is schoon, goed voorzien van alle benodigdheden, ook lakens en handdoeken zijn aanwezig. Draadloos internet is beschikbaar voor wie de laptop meeneemt. Dit alles voor een acceptabele prijs. Het blijft een aanrader.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in ihrem malerischen Gästehaus. Die Bilder haben nicht zu viel versprochen und wir fanden unser zu Hause auf Zeit sogar noch schöner vor, als wir es uns vorgestellt hatten, vor allem die umfangreich ausgestattete Küche hat uns viel Freude bereitet.
Wir konnten so jeden Morgen gut gelaunt auf Erkundungstour gehen und besuchten auf ihr Anraten hin Versailles, Fontainebleau, Vaux le Vicomte, Provins ... und natürlich Paris, was bleibt da noch zu sagen?
Im Herzen von Frankreich verbrachten wir zwei erholsame Wochen und erlebten eine Zeit, an die wir uns gern erinnern.

Das Apartement ist sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt, liegt sehr ruhig und bietet alles was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht (vor allem sehr gute Betten).
Schnell waren wir von dort aus im Disneyland (20 km) und auch in Paris.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und Madame Catherine hat uns viele Infos und Unterlagen zur Region gegeben. Vielen Dank für herzliche Aufnahme! Gerne empfehlen wir diese Unterkunft und hoffen einmal wieder zu kommen.

Last Christmas we had a stay in La Croix De La Jarrie.

We had a wonderfull time in the house, it is perfect situated for a trip to Paris and Disneyland. The house itself is nice and comfortable. Chaterina was very helpfull and kind. It is really a place to visit again and to remember.

Our holiday at Chatres was fabulous. Catherine couldn't have been a better hostess. She was willing to help us in any way possible and gave us helpful information about the area. The gite was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The three bedroom apartment was spacious for our family of six.

The boulangerie in the next village is very convenient.

Visiting Paris was easy. Day trips to Fontenbleu and Versailles were also fantastic.

I would recommend Catherine and La Croix de la Jarrie, and we hope to return again soon!

Rien de tel que d'être accueillis chaleureusement et avec un grand sourire après quelques heures de route en plein soleil, de découvrir un très beau gîte, agréable, propre, avec une décoration champêtre et de très bon goût. On se sent comme chez soi, et ça c'est super...
Merci à vous Catherine pour tous les petits tuyaux de sortie comme le Parc des Félins qui a beaucoup plu aux enfants, Vaux-le-Vicomte qui vaut le déplacement surtout le soir à la lueur des chandelles et de nous avoir conseillé le RER de TOURNAN pour PARIS avec en prime les horaires!! L'on a pu visiter Paris sans contraintes et sans soucis de parking ...
Encore merci Catherine de nous avoir permis de prolonger notre séjour de quelques jours, sans cela Vaux-Le-Vicomte n'aurait pu être visité.
Ce petit lieu paisible et calme est donc à découvrir sans attendre...

We hebben een prima verblijf gehad in La Croix de la Jarrie. Het huis is ruim en schoon. Alle benodigdheden zijn aanwezig.En alhoewel er in Châtres zelf niets te doen is (heerlijk voor wie rust zoekt zoals wij), is het een optimaal gelegen uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Euro Disney (kwartiertje rijden), Parijs (half uurtje), en andere bezienswaardigheden. En met een jaarkaart voor Euro Disney op zak is de kans groot dat we nog eens terug komen. Voor ons is La Croix de la Jarrie een aanrader.

We stayed here in a two bedroom chalet during August 2009, we found Cathrine to be very helpful and able to answer all our questions. The chalet was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our weeks holiday. The location of the chalets is fantastic for visiting Paris, Provins and the Disney parks, the local towns/large villages provided us with all the food shopping and eating out requirements that we needed. Would we stay here again most definately, would we recommend these chalets to family/friends we certainly would.

Our family of two adults and three children stayed here at Easter with a view to visiting Paris and Disneyland. The location is excellent for Disneyland and the motorways have you in Paris in 45 mins. The apartments were perfect for our family, spacious with all the conveniences we needed. Catherine is a wonderful landlady and was available whenever you needed her. She even supplied spanners and other tools I needed for a purchase I had made on the local Decathalon. There is plenty of shopping available within a short drive of the apartments and a car is necessary to make the most of the locality.
I would have no reservation in recommending these apartments to any family looking for a beautiful location and helpful hostess.

The whole family (including teenagers) had a wonderful holiday staying at La Croix de la Jarrie. The appartment was spacious, bright and clean, surrounded by beautiful, peaceful countryside. Catherine was helpful throughtout our stay making us feel relaxed and welcome. A local store was only a few minutes away to stock-up on items and we were also in easy travelling distance of Disney and other attractions for the young and slightly older! Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND and we are looking forward to visiting France again and staying at La Croix de la Jarrie.

Siamo tornati a casa ieri sera dopo una settimana trascorsa a La Croix de la Jarrie. Ci siamo trovati molto bene: l'appartamento in cui abbiamo alloggiato è assai carino e accogliente, pulitissimo, ordinato e accessoriato. Chaterine, la proprietaria, ci è stata molto di aiuto per conoscere la zona (negozi, luoghi di interesse, trasporti...).La posizione degli appartamenti è assai tranquilla, accanto ad una tipica fattoria della zona. Il villaggio è carino, silenzioso, ma non ha negozi: i più vicini supermercati si trovano a 4-5 Km e si raggiungono comunque facilmente. dopo una giornata trascorsa a visitare Parigi o i suoi dintorni, è molto rilassante tornare in un posto così tranquillo. Grazie a Chaterine e arrivederci!

Just returned home from our second stay at Le Croix de la Jarrie Gite at Chatres. It was a pleasure to stay at the spotless accommodation , tiled floors with rugs so no problems with dust. Catherine (the owner) has provided a lovely base to tour the area with lovely white towels and bed linens even tea towels. The beds are very comfortable and makes a lovely retreat after a hard day pounding the streets at the Parks. Catherine speaks good English and is so warm and welcoming it makes the holiday stress free and her maps and local information are really useful.

A year on the gite was impeccable as last year July 2007 when we visited. A welcome addition was the washing machine and airer this year. My one tip is to take mugs along as the french coffee cups are teeny for an english brew.

Really pleasantly suprised when we drove up how lovely the apartment and grounds looked.
Great welcome by the owner Catherine, who explained everything well and took her time to give loads of information about local ammenities and sights to see and do. (45mins)
Fantastic area and a great base for disney, Paris and surrounding areas. If you have kids,we would highly recommend Provins, in particular seeing the Legend of the Knights and of course Disney!
The drive to Disney and Paris was easy and the roads were good. Chatres is only minutes from the motorway.
We would definitely recommend and would use again.
The facilities were spotlessly clean and tidy and catered well for your needs. There was a washing machine, dishwasher and microwave and a generous fridge freezer.
Great back garden to sit or for the kids to play in.

This is a high quality accomodation for reasonable price.
If we had to fault anything, the only thing would be it was very warm the week we went (over 30 degrees)and the apartment has no air conditioning or fans, but to be honest this is being picky.

All in all a great little place to stay in beautiful surroundings for budget hotel money.

Just returned from a wonderful week at La Croix de la Jarrie. The apartment was a home away from home. Catherine was extremely welcoming and took the time to advise us where to go, what to do, what was open and when it was open. An ideal base for visits to Disney and Paris. Would highly recommend the candle lit evening visit to the Chateau Vaux Le Vicomte on friday evenings....especially the champagne bar. An excellent way to end your week.

We have just returned home from a wonderful holiday with our two children aged 3 & 10 on Catherine's estate in Chatres. This was due in no small part to the fabulous accommodation we stayed in. The apartment which was really more like a house & included a garden was in absolutely pristine condition on our arrival & had every amenity you could ask for. The village is beautiful & very peaceful & perfectly located for visiting Disney, Paris, Fontainebleau & Provins to name but a few of the places we visited. Also Catherine was able to recommend many other places for us to visit that we had not thought of ourselves. She & her husband were very welcoming & helpful to us & were genuinely concerned that we would get the most out of our stay in their country. We would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone & hope to return ourselves next year!

Our french is not nearly as good as your english and this made communication so easy and friendly.
The apartment is beautiful and very comfortable and the setting is quiet and relaxing. The facilities at the apartment are superb and it was a genuine pleasure to stay with you.
Once we got used to the road signs, Chatres is quite easy to find and a perfect location from which to explore Paris and EuroDisney as we did during our stay.

We had a wonderful holiday at Catherine's estate. The apartment was large enough for all 7 members of my family and we were very comfortable! Chatres is a very convenient location, only 15 minutes from Disneyland Paris and only 45 minutes from Paris. It was absolutely perfect!

Pour des raisons professionnelles, nous avons passé 3 mois trés agréable dans le gîte de la Jarrie.Etant loin de chez nous, nous avons apprécié le fait de rentrer tous les soirs dans un appartement doté de tout le confort necessaire à se sentir à la maison.De plus, les propriétaires sont d'une gentillesse et d'une serviabilité extraordinaire. Lors de nos prochains déplacements dans la région parisienne, nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir dans ce lieu chaleureux.Je recommande trés fortement ce gîte au nom de toute l'équipe ADF.

What a WONDERFUL holiday we had with our two children (three and one year old) at Catherine's lovely estate. Only 15 minutes from Disneyland Paris we were able to enjoy two days with Mickey and Co. Then it was off on another day to Paris and all of the sites it had to offer - and this by train also only 15 minutes from the apartment. Another day we went to Val D'Europe to enjoy SeaLife Aquarium and a little shopping. And then it was off to see some palaces nearby.
Of course, the apartment was a home away from home during our week in France. It was quiet and peaceful with all of the amenities we could have ever asked for. And the kids stayed each in their own rooms and we were able to enjoy the evenings going to bed at a normal hour (not with the kids!)
Catherine and her husband are wonderfully warm hosts and we can recommend staying with them very highly.
Honestly, it was the best vacation we have had in years!!!!!!!

Une véritable aubaine que d'avoir découvert ce superbe gite à la campagne, au vert, au calme...Un lieu propice au repos et à la réflexion.Un accueil des plus sympathique grâce à la gentillesse des propriétaires et des appartements très fonctionnels, modernes, décorés avec goût.Une adresse que je vous recommande pour un week end, une semaine , un mois ou plus.

Nous avons loué 2 gites, afin de fêter les 18 ans de notre fille et de notre nièce, ainsi que les 20 ans de notre autre nièce. Euro disney bien sûr, le parc animalier des félins, qui est une superbe ballade. Bref un week end de rêve en famille.
Nous avons été bien acceuilli dans ce superbe gîte, très tranquille et très propre. A recommander.

My family and I had a truly great holiday here. The house was clean, modern and well furnished. It is ideally located for days out to Disneyland, Provins, Fontainebleu and Paris and the owner Catherine is very helpful.[br] I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

Our holiday in La Croix de la Jarrie was wonderful the apartments are new and very confortable.From Chatres one could go everywhere in a few minutes such as Eifel tower,Champ Eleeys,Arc de triomphe and much more.You can't go to Paris and not visit Disneyland resort,this is only 15-20 minutes away by car.
Catherine and her husband are wonderful people and you can't get lost in Paris because they will really help you and guide you, they even show you where to go.
I can't describe how wonderful and relax my holiday was. It was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ROMILDA

L'appartamento è bellissimo, arredato modernamente, spazioso e nuovissimo. Tutto funziona perfettamente e la padrona di casa è molto simpatica e disponibile.
Il paese è tranquillissimo, ma serve la macchina e non ci sono negozi (che sono nel paese vicino).
C'è posto per giocare per i bambini nel giardino e noi ci siamo trovati benissimo.
Posto ideale per muoversi in macchina verso Eurodisney, Parigi e castelli vari.

Het is een mooi, nieuw apartament, modern ingericht , met veel ruimte. Alles werkt prima en de eigenaresse is heel sympatiek en beschikbaar.
Het dorpje is heel rustig, er zijn geen winkels (die zijn in het stadje verderop), dus je hebt wel en auto nodig.
Er is plaats voor de kinderen om te spelen in de tuin. We hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad.
Ideale basis om naar Eurodisney en Paris te gaan en de Kastelen in de buurt te bezoeken.

All the family enjoyed their stay at this wonderful accomodation. Mme Billet was so helpful with information and timetables etc. Such a great location to access Disneyland, Paris, Val d'europe and the surrounding area. Highly recommended!
